I admit it-I love the creative process. I get a kick out of taking unremarkable photographs, photos of a single subject, and photos lacking whatever would have made them great, and combining them into an entirely new entity.
I only use my photographs, not someone else’s stock photography. I work mainly in Adobe Photoshop CS4, although some field photography techniques do find their way into my bag of tricks on occasion. All the images on this blog are enhanced, manipulated, composited, collaged and/or altered. Some of the results are more extreme than others.
A huge moon hangs low over a snow dusted mountain range – I simply added the moon to an already decent photo and adjusted the color and lighting. HDR Laguna Sunset began as 5 bracketed photos on a smokey summer night, and combined in CS4. Impossible Landscape took a week, and is composed of 9 individual photographs. Many things have been inundated with water.
And so on…
I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do.

I love your creative manipulation of these images. Somehow you add to what are already beautiful photographs and give new insight for me to wonder at.
